I'm just working on a site for my small film festival and I'm embedding trailers for the films into my K2 item pages.

But I seem to get a K2_MEDIA header in the video section and I don't know how to remove it.

There are many ways you can remove that. The faster one is by CSS.

You can add this to your template's css file
.itemVideoBlock h3 {display:none;}
