Bold Fonts was created by csmith
I'm using K2 with a Gavick Pro magazine template. Since I added K2, the text will not display BOLD. It will display italics, but not bold.
Does anyone have a resolution.

Hello,
This is related to the template styles. You should ask the template developer for issues regarding their css files.

I don't understand because prior to adding K2, all the articles within the Gavick Pro Magazine Template had bold fonts. Once I added K2 to the Gavick Pro Magazine Template all the articles that included words or names in bold disappeared.
Now, in order for words or names to stand out I have put them in italics because the bold doesn't work with K2.
How is this a Template problem?

The template probably contains a custom overridden version of k2.css. K2's default styling is unobtrusive and would not cause issues like this.
