I would like to know if the following is possible:

I have numerous items where I must show contact etails off more people. I would like it to look like this:

Item name

Is this possible to achieve? As far I can see it is not possible to repeat the groups.

You need to look at the JED or the at the extend K2 section of this site for a K2 Plugin that offers this type of functionality.
