In a Joomla 1.5 + K2 site I show a simple video by embedding from YouTube.
Presumably using K2's AllVideos (installed) ... I just paste the code from youTube into the
embed option of the JCE editor.

It works fine except that it is followed by a Read More button which suppresses the
display of social icons which should follow and I want.

When I press Read More these appear as they should
have in the first place below the video which also reappears.

I have tried everything I can think of and failed to get rid of the Read More to no avail :(
Also, it does not appear in the JCE editor so I can't delete it there.

Any specific suggestions will be very welcome. TIA.

The read more button setting is located in the category's settings (item view in category listings). If that setting is not functioning, then it is probably hardcoded on your template.

I suspect you are correct (and will try to check) but I consider that overriding a standard parameter with no indication to the user amounts to introducing a bug in the program.

That, of course, is not a problem with K2.
