I am having an issue with the k2 image diplay. When I set the image from the blog top tool bar...see attached. You can see the image hovering once the article is clicked. I do not want this nor understand it. If you go to my temp site lifejiujitsu.com...you will see this when you click the title, pic, or read more button. How do I get rid of this? It does go away if the image is not set thru this link in the back end. But I would like to set it there. This has never happened to me on the earlier version

The template you are using is creating a conflict with the default Joomla! module. You have to override the K2 template and remove the modal class from itemImageBlock 's link in item.php.
