I'm using an extra field with the date field type. How can I pull the data and change the format to be something like 201311037

Here is how I'm grabbing it in an item page:
<?php echo $this->item->extraFields->EventEndDate->value ?>

Dear Dan, there appears to be a bug with your father. This kind of leakage is not normal for his version. You should do some debugging on him, please enable error reporting and let me know what error messages you are getting.

Yes you can actually. You can print the extrafield by Alias and select only the M or d variables.
