Thumbnail preview problem on portrait images was created by Muzaffer Topdağı
Hi All,

Try as I might I could not find this problem even referenced anywhere. Portrait images thumbnails show only the upper part of the image in the preview indexes in categories, main index page, etc. The preview images look silly for portrait images, showing only the upper part of the foreheads.

Is there any workaround for this? Can I upload a different version of the same image to some location, for instance, and show THAT version only in the preview thumbnails?

Hard to believe that this is not an FAQ...

Please help.

This seems to be a template issue. Please contact your template provider/developer in order to solve it.

I am using the "k2" extension in a joomla template to list those images that way in the index page. How can that be a template issue when it is the k2 extension that does all the work? The template justprovides the background colors, layouts, etc.

Your thumbnails page uses masonry which puts a specific height to your thumbnails. This is definitely not a K2 issue. Please contact your template provider in order to help you.

Thank you.
