A couple of strange things: I have RSS icon disabled in the category - but as you can see, it appears. I can live with that.

I have social sharing icons enabled (and some Addthis code placed in the Social parameters area) but no social buttons appear.

I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong. :-)

Make sure that your category parameters are not inherited through somewhere else.

Thanks for your response, Yiota! I have that option set to "None". I'm so puzzled by this!

Check if you have set up any parameters through the menu item of the Blog category.

Yay! You were right--the RSS setting was set to Show on the menu item settings. Thank you!

Do you have any further thoughts on why the social sharing icons are not appearing?

The social sharing is an option for the item page only and not the category list. If you visit each item you will see them just fine.
