Does anyone know how to set the front end editor to TinyMCE and the backend editor to something different, like JCE?

There is no Global option to set this up. You can do it by user only or you could setup different JCE editors for either Frontend and backend use. In the Frontend editor you can limit the toolbar to a simpler one for example.

The reason I ask is because JCE won't display in the front end and I can't figure out why. It works fine in the back end. (see the attached image for what my front end editor shows when set to JCE)


Can I as the super-admin, change each users editor preference or can only they do it? I don't see anything in the K2 > Users area that would allow me to set their editor...

I even thought I could set the default editor to TinyMCE then change the admin editor to JCE but it still goes to the TinyMCE editor in the back end.

Any other ideas? I just want JCE so I can use their link tool when creating links.

Check in the JCE settings for the correct user permissions. Maybe the one you have doesn't allow to show in the frontend.
