sWe are running a band boosters website. every few weeks we update an account pdf file so that students can find information.
The issue is when we try to unload the new pdf file into a media manager sub-directory, the old pdf file is somehow maintained. I've deleted all the files in the sub-directory and recreated, uploaded the new file, but each time the old file is recreated and shown (preview or open).
The old file must be cached or db'd somewhere that it gets re-established. Is this the case? The only way to make it work is to create a new sub-directory, place the new file there, and change the links to point to that file.
We are trying to avoid having to change all the linkages in the menus and other areas.
