While developing a site, I noticed that adding /date to the url of any k2 item shows a list of all your items starting with the most recent. I was wondering, can this can be disabled or set not to show unless if the year, month and category id is specified?
Also, I noticed that adding an arbitrary number to it so it becomes /dateXX (where XX is any integer) displays a k2 item. e.g getk2.org/extend/extensions/date1
Can this be changed as well?
I would appreciate any useful ideas.

There is an option for that in K2 Parameters -> Advanced tab under Advanced SEF Settings. You can set there the URL suffix for the date listings.

Thanks for your reply. However, I think you misunderstood my point. My issue is that the URL suffix shows all my items regardless of what its called(date or "some other suffix"). Is it possible to limit this? maybe show items only from a particular category?

No, I'm afraid not. This option fetches all items by date created and is only available if you have enabled this option "Enable advanced SEF for K2 URLs" under Advanced settings on K2 Parameters.
