Breadcrumbs was created by Caroline Moorhouse
Hi
I have inserted a breadcrumb on the footer of my page.
however it isn't showing the sub category of scotch eggs in the path, do you know how i achieve this?
I ideally want it show:
Home > Our Products > Scotch eggs > Pork and Apple
It currently only shows
Home > Our Products > Pork and Apple
thank you
Caroline

The Joomla's breadcrumbs follow the menu path to you item. The K2 breadcrumbs follow the category path to your item.
You have two choices.
One, is to create menu items for your subcategories as well in order for them to show in the existing Breadcrumbs module or two, to create a K2 Tools module -> Breadcrumbs.
To use the k2 breadcrumbs module you just have to create a new K2 Tools module in the same module position and choose the Breadcrumbs through the "Select module functionality" option.

If i use the k2 version, is it possible to hide the 'you are here' field?

You can hide that by creating an language override.
Go to Extensions -> Language Manager and choose the Overrides. Then just add a blank entry for "K2_YOU_ARE_HERE" definition.
