First, I have the latest version of K2 and Joomla 2.5. I have disabled the font resizer in all of my categories because i could not get it to work properly. Anyway, I changed the font from size 12 to size 14 in my template's CSS file and all of the text changed on the website except for the text above where the read more is in the article. Can anyone please tell me where in the code to change the font above the read more in the article to make it go from 12 to 14 font?

You must be referring to the introtext. All css for k2 is located in the k2.css file. Check if your template uses it (check if the k2.css file exists in templates/your_template/css/ folder).
If it does, edit the classes that refer to the introtext of the listings and item pages.

Thank you, it works now! I used Google Chrome and this code: itemIntroText by inspecting the element in the K2.css file as you mentioned.
