[SOLVED] Uploading RTL document was created by Avi Tariaki
Hi,
When I upload an attachment with RTL (Hebrew) title to a K2 item- the system changes the name of the file.
So the file I'm uploading is called סיכום_ישיבה_ועדת_חזות_מיום_ 20.doc
And after uploading it's YYYYY_YYYYY_YYYY_YYYY_YYYY__20.doc
Link to the site
Any ideas?
Thanks

The server by default cannot handle non UTF-8 characters.
You have to use safe characters for your filenames. You can use Hebrew in the title field.

Thanks for your reply Krikor
So - the filename must be in latin characters?
Anyway to get the server to handle non UTF-8?

I wouldn't try that in your position. It can mess up alot of things in your installation.
Eg. PHP might not properly parse files or browsers and spiders might not access these files at all resulting in multiple 404 issues (really bad for SEO).
