I am having an issue where the introtext will not show in the Category listing page. It is pulling the div class into the html. However the text firled is empty as demonstrated here:

There should be introtext in between "catitemIntroText, but nothing is showing up. I have checked, double checked and tripple checked to make sure that it is set to show in the category and item, even. I have reinstalled K2 and still nothing. So it seems that the cat item listings have to be all set to "show" otherwise the div wouldn't show up.

I am running joomla 3.2.0 and k2 2.6.7 Does anyone have any ideas as to why I can not get the introtext to display in the category listings?

Have you specified an introtext using your editor ? (the read more button)

Also do you have you set a word limit?

And finally is it working with the default or the system template? You can add ?template=system at the end of the URL to check this.

1. yes. and also have 2 editors. neither is working.

2. yes. 100, 20, 25, 10, etc. does not work.

3.I have tried with the default template, other templates, nothing. Also I used "?template=system " and still no introtext.

Can you try installing the 2.6.8 DEV build? This version is more suitable for Joomla! 3.2.0 sites.

Yes, I installed theDev edition and it soes not work. I loaded a 2.5 site as a test and migrated the same tables over to it. and the introtext shows. So i am assuming it is a 3.2 issue.

I retested it in J! 3.2 and it seems to work.
Can you please send me screenshots of the menu item's configuration and the category's settings, so I can replicate the issue?

I wanted to let you know that I traced the issue down to a filter extension we are using.

It does nt look like it is a K2 issue at this point. thank you for your help with this issue anyway!
