Recently I am trying the free demo K2 template, Takai.
However, I never got a fulltext. Whenever I click readmore or the article title, the introtext is missing in the item view .
Actually , I have checked introtext show and fulltext show radio buttons in the related category setting.

Can anybody help?

Check if the introtext block is present in your item.php file or it is not commented out.

I am pretty new to K2 system.And I found several item.php files in different folders.
Actually, the issue only happened to the free demo template Takai, with any other template, it works fine.

Check the item.php in the active template folder, check the template parameter of the parent category of the item, then find the item.php in /templates/yourtemplate/html/com_k2/templates
