So in the article, for some reason Intro text shows a ... at the end of the intro text and then a line break. I have been looking everyone on how to correct and get rid of it. A person reading an article on the page should see flow of the article, not an interruption. See the screen shot for my example. Your reading, then all of a sudden in mid sentence there is ... and a line break

Could be a plugin that changes the <hr > behaivour ?? What editor do you use? Maybe could be some template customization.

Can you give us a link to check it??
