To speed up my site, I'd like to combine the JS files (using JCH Optimize) but it causes some issues with the front end editor - the editor won't open in the normal lightbox, rather it opens as a whole page and then won't close afterwards.

Can anyone tell me what JS file the front end editor lightbox use? - so I can exclude it from the files to be combined and see if that stops the issue.

Hi Olsen, thanks for the reply. Unfortunately, that doesn't seem to be the one that controls the lightbox, or at least that'S the way it seems to me.

I have managed to exclude it from being combined with the other js files but the front end editor still won't open in a lightbox. Any other ideas?

Hi, thanks for the help on this one guys but I think I am just going to try and avoid using the k2 front end editor, not because of the JS, I just think the lightbox method is too flimsy and people can lose their writing too easily.

My stopgap measure will be to use the joomla editor and let people submit with that then copy and paste to k2 on the backend myself.

Thanks again for helping with this one!
