[SOLVED] Control access to parts of an item was created by David Willox
I would like to be able to restrict access to specific user groups in the front end to certain parts of selected items:

Does anyone know of an extension that makes this possible or if there is an easy way to do it.
Clearly it could be done in the php but I am not sure how to call the user status.
If anyone has added the significant snippet I would be very grateful for a sight of it.

Brilliant! Many thanks.

We are a film making company. One of the things we do is cover conferences. We generally produce a website, conduct short interviews with the speakers, produce a podcast of their presentation and make the PowerPoint or PDF viewable on line. Our clients have started to ask us to restrict the podcast to delegates or charge for it.

This make it easy to structure the site accordingly.
