K2 ACL: Item inherit access from category was created by Robert Peterson
I'm using Joomla 3's built-in ACL to control my content delivery, and I've hit a snag:

I've created a new Joomla access level that only certain users can see. I've applied that access level to a specific K2 category.

But the problem is that when I add a new K2 content item in that category, the item takes the default access level -- "Public" -- which overrides the category's more limited access level.

I don't want to ask my contributors to choose a category AND change the access level when they add a new content item.

How can I adjust the ACL so that the K2 item will inherit its access level from its assigned K2 category?

Thanks!

Hello Robert,

Can you try applying the ACL level to the menu (K2 Category) item as well?
