De-select the Gender of an author was created by YannisDr
How can I deselect an author's gender?
There is no specific person writing in the blog (just the name of the website is showing) so I wouldn't want to show the Greek version of saying "written by" (which also indicates the gender). There is a way doing it through language files, but I 'd prefer leave them intact as there may be an author in the future.
Thanks

You can hide the author from the options section on the right when you edit a category from the backend.

That solution would be good if I could choose a specific author to be hidden. However, maybe another author will want his/her name to be shown.

You can override the language stings of K2 or comment out the following code
<?php echo K2HelperUtilities::writtenBy($this->item->author->profile->gender); ?>

Hint: It might differ a bit between item.php, category_item.php etc..
