We are wondering if K2 supports adding extra field types?
We're looking at paying a developer to create either a plugin, or (ideally) an extra field type.
The field type would be called a "Nested" field and would allow you to create the extra "field" entry. Inside that extra field would be a way to choose any number of fields (of any available type), all tied to that one field entry. Basically, you'd have a group of fields inside one Extra field item in your K2 item. This would allow us to do things like build a schedule grid that we completely control in the template layout (unlike just using the csv import). Each extra field would be a row of fields that we could pull data from and display in the item template.
If we have to do this using a plugin/tab then we will, but I was hoping to make it work inside the extra fields system.
