Advanced SEF settings was created by George Nasis
Hallo there!
I have a simple question!
In advanced sef settings it says that if you choose a custom prefix for item urls you will have this format:
domain.com/story/item-title
But i have this one:
domain.com/index.php/category/subcategory/story/item-title
i mean that in my url the full path of the item is displayed.
Is this normal?
And yes i have a menu item pointing to all categories of K2.
Thank you very much!

Hello George,
If you haven't Disabled the "Use the category title alias" option it is correct.

To avoid index.php you will have to enable from Global configuration the "Use URL rewriting".

Oh thank you very much.
And to avoid the full path?
I mean to have domain.com/story/item-title?

Could you provide me with the settings you have used in the Advanced K2 settings tab?

Another question. Do you have menu items pointing to those categories and sub-categories?
