Filters for Joomla Sit - With K2? was created by Thanos
Hello. I am new here. I want to create a joomla site, where i will demostrate some tourist packages (cruises). I want to be able to demonstrate them all one by one, each one under the other, but main issue is that i want to have some advanced filters. Something like that (www.e-shop.gr/shop?id=66) but surely not that complicated.
Can K2 component perhaps with another filter module give me a solution? Or even added using an ehsop platform (virtuemart or even k2mart) would help me more, by adding each cruise as a product?
Thank you in advance and keep up the good work ;)

Thank you, i have already seen most of them. Although i am curious, do i have to use also an eshop component or i can add my services (cruises) as articles and then with k2 and one of the above extentions will i have the outcome i want?

You don't have to use any shop extension if there is no need to. All the filter extensions suggested work either with extra fields or tags of the K2 items themselves.

Thank you very much Giota :)
I will try it and hope wont have any other issues. Just its first time i am using K2 and i am a bit nervous.
You just add articles, categories etc via k2 and not default article manager of joomla, am i corrrect?

Yes, that is correct.
You can watch these videos here:

They are very helpful.
