I am using the K2 component in a Joomlart template.
Basically, the tags do not work, it opens up a blank page when clicked upon.

I am just wondering if the k2 tags is supposed to work automatically of if I have to do a little configuration or set up before it works.

To make sure that this is not a template issue try to use a default joomla template or to add in your page's url this: ?template=system and check if the tags are working then.

Basically my set up was incomplete. Found the answer I was looking for here,
