Hi I want to build a joomla website under K2. But I doubt whether K2 will continue in future? because many features of k2 are now available in latest joomla 3.2. Apart from that there no update or news from K2 team from lats July 2013.

Is it safe to proceed with K2? Looking forward for your reply

K2 team is currently working on the new version of K2 which will be released soon.
Stay tuned for an update on this :)

You can download and work with the latest SVN version 2.6.8 (getk2.org/assets/get/) which is compatible with Joomla! 3.2.1, for now.

I love K2 and would gladly pay for the component. However the lack of communication from Joomla Works (Last Blog Post March 2013) makes me question if I should stick with K2 for future projects.

Are you able to inform the community of an estimated release date for the new version and what new features to expect?
