what exactly are k2 Stats? was created by robert lodi
Hello there -

I would like to know what some of the numbers in the K2 Stats box mean. For example it is showing us as having 630 users! Which is 624 more than we have in Joomla. What is it counting as users?

Have you tried to clean your site's cache and check again?

Do you use comments in your site?

Cache has been cleared. Now we show 631 users. We do not have comments open on any pages.

Is your site in a sub-folder of a domain maybe?
Usually it shows the number of total users on a site.

no sub folder or subdomain as far as I know.

so it should be showing users like users who can log into k2?

we have only six site users who can access /administrator

can there be hidden users somewhere? can i find that in the database somewhere? now it is reading 632.

It normally shows the total users of your site, either logged in or not.

You can check the k2_users table in the database.

OK thanks. I see them all in the database.

it looks - weird - to me.

hundreds of rows of the attached screen. any idea how they are getting in?

I only see five in the screenshot. Probably you see more. Do the entries in the database correspond to the number of users you see in the statistics?

It would seem so. i set it to show me 700 rows and its screens and screens of NULL entries.
