Hello K2!

I have been able to get my site set up, and I have featured items going to the "Home" screen, and all is well. This is more of a "Wouldn't it be great if...?" question....

Is it possible, by default or by some plugin, to have a K2 item be marked as "Featured" from DateA to DateB - much like publishing can be done from A to B dates?

I'm afraid that there is no such option by default.
There is no field that you can fill in the featured item's dates of expiration.

Maybe you can achieve something like that with a plugin.
