Do you get any message when you click the publish icon? Just tested and everything works fine for me with K2 2.6.8 DEV/Joomla! 3.2.2. I suggest that you update Joomla! to 3.2.2 ( it is one click update process through the Joomla! update component ) and then update K2 to 2.6.8 DEV version. It is important that you download the DEV version again from getk2.org/assets/get/ since it is changing every day.
