My quest continues!!

I have now updated Joomla V2.5.18 (K2 version 2.6.7)

When registering on my site after submitting the form, I'm being taken back to the registration form and see a large red box with the text "Wrong reCaptcha" at the top?

What can I do to fix this? K2 Captcha is disabled, I tried enabling it but nothing changed?

Make sure that you have disabled the captcha under Users Configuration as well.

Thanks, where can I find user configuration?

Go to Administrator->Users->User manager and click the "options" button.

Just went to users - options and next to captcha selected ' - None Selected - '. (Also I have selected No on ' Enable ReCaptcha on registration form' within K2 Parameters).

The capatcha still shows and upon entering it I am getting the error 'Wrong ReCaptcha'.

It seems that the reCAPTCHA is hardcoded in your template overrides. Using the system template there is no reCAPCTHA www.sweetfe.co.uk/index.php?option=com_users&view=registration&template=system. So check where this registration comes from as well as any layout overrides. Probably this has nothing to do with K2.
