I'm trying to figure out how to make changes to the standard email link (email to a friend) that is located at the top left-hand corner of the post. I'd like the ability to send it to more than 1 person at a time (enter multiple email addresses). I'd also like to have K2 insert the user's avatar as a link to the post instead of K2 just inserting the actual link text when the person receives the email. Where can I make these changes happen? Any help is appreciated.

The Email to friend is not handled by K2. It's a joomla component, it's using the com_mailto. You can do a template override for that component view and style it but not sure of adding the user's avatar
