Conditions:
- New Joomla 3.2.2 install
- New K2 install (both from web or from upload)
- Super User or New User added to User Group "Contributors" with all privileges set to 'yes' and ability to edit/add within the K2 component at the Joomla permission level.
- Turned off Joomla SEF and K2 SEF to avoid routing issues
- Added K2 "Edit Item" menu type to front, page and logged in.
- Added K2 User Mod to frontpage and no "Add Item" link
Route:
/index.php?option=com_k2&view=item&layout=itemform&task=add&Itemid=130 (tried fiddling with the item id a bit and nothing)
Results:
Error 403 - You are not authorized to view this resource
