I am new to K2 and I have spent hours searching this forum and Google to find the solution to registered users can't leave comments on articles.


I have checked the user was registered in the K2 users.
I have set "post comments" to yes in the user groups.
But still I can not get them to work.

Before anyone tells me that the issue is in my template (which seems to be a common response to this issue) I would like to point out that I am using the default template at this stage.

I fell in love with K2 because of the features it offers but I find it very frustrating because there seems to be a lot of posts that are years old and none of the solutions work and I don't really see why this has been an issue for such a period of time.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Hi. Have you enabled comments in K2 parameters? Also ensure that you are using the latest version of K2 ( 2.6.8 ) and a supported version of Joomla!.
