<solved> Newbie with questions was created by Arthur Johnston
Rather than upgrading my current site from Joomla! v.2.5 to v3.2, I am developing a new site using Joomla! 3.22; K2v.2.68 and a Joomlart template.

When displaying items from a category, it displays a blank (white) area at the beginning of each category.

Originally, in v2.5 I did not have this problem.

The site link is: seacrestcockers.com/joomla

A screen capture is attached.

Thank you in advance

Hi. I cannot tell from screenshots, i need a link to your site. However this seems like a template issue.

A template issue indeed. You need to remove the background property from the div.itemListCategory class.

If your template does not have a k2.css filem it is wise to override instead of editing the core file.

Read here more on overrides: getk2.org/documentation/tutorials/174-templating-with-k2-and-the-concepts-of-sub-templates
