In case a user changes the avatar, I get an announcement because I need to activate the change.

1) Is there a possibility to disable the function, and simply allow users to upload avatars as they like?
2) Is there a possibility to include user's ID or name in the announcement Email? Otherwise I am not able to find out who has changed the avatar...

Hi. The "announcement" you are talking about is not coming from K2. So probably you need to find which extension does that and then ask it's developers for help.
