So I need library functionality for a website.
A catalog of books, DVDs, magazines (and articles). All searchable. With extra fields for ISBN, Loan Status, number of copies, etc, etc.
I've looked at a few Joomla extensions but nothing is really up to the task.
Before I dive into K2 (I've never used it before), could I use it to create a catalog of media (not just downloadable media, but real books, real DVDs etc) and add some kind of lending capability.
The entities in the catalog would look like this:
DVD Name
Length
Description
Loan Status
Other Custom Fields
- Part 1
Length
Description
Other custom fields
- Part 2
etc
Could I easily adapt K2 for this sort of functionality?
