I'm having trouble figuring out why when I try to edit source code for i.e put a youtube embed video in the middle of my text, I hit <> icon and put the code. Hit save and then, nothing happen when I publish the item. I check the <> again and the source is gone! that happens with everything that I try to edit in there.

Someone, please, help me.

Hi. Go to Joomla! global configuration and check text filters. Ensure that you do have the permission to post this kind of code.
