Hi, I'm having trouble ordering items in category view...
I am redoing my site and thus imported the K2 database from my old site where it used to work fine, but now something's not responding properly in my new site..
In category settings I set it up to display 'Latest Items First', but K2 ignores it..
I also tried via menu item settings, but it won't take my command, reverting to 'inherited from category'...
*I already tried reinstalling the component, no difference...
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi. Please check again your settings. There is no option named "Latest Items First". Please clarify which sorting option you have applied.

Correct, it's actually called "Most recent first (by date created)"...
** It won't change with any option I choose... The ordering seems stuck...

Then probably you tweaking a wrong setting. First detect if the page is a menu link to multiple categories or a single category listing. Then tweak the appropriate setting. Finally ensure that this is a page generated by K2 and not a third party extension.

Ok, I think I got it working now...
In menu item, I had listed each category to fetch from, instead of the single mother category... In both cases it means fetching ALL categories but I guess that menu-item settings didn't match my global settings..
Now it's working ok...
