Controlling K2 User Group membership was created by Lee Allison
Trying to control membership in K2 user groups by subscriptions.

Example:

1. User group named Public that is the default group that people are put into when they join. No front end editing but can read/see entire rest of site.

2. Another user group named Subscribed that has the ability to add content.

I only want users put into the Subscribed group once they have paid a membership fee.

So my question is: Can CBSubs do this? Is there a better way to manage this?

Hi. Since this question is related with CBSubs i suggest that you ask the developers of CBSubs. Some things to clarify regarding K2:

1. K2 user groups have no effect at content viewing. Content viewing is handled by Joomla! access levels.
2. K2 user groups permissions apply only in front-end editing.
