Problem with k2 items was created by George Filippidis
Hello there,
I have a very strange problem:
Suddenly when I create a new item and add it in a category does not appear in the category menu.
I can see it in back end, in the category list and in the items list but nothing in front end.
I notice that if I copy an older item and move it in to a new category will work ok. The problem is with the new items.

can you please help me?

Hi. Check that the item is published. Also check the access level of the item as well as the start and finish publishing dates. Finally ensure that your menu does not have a filter for featured items only.

Hello,
I had checked all these before my first post.
This problem started after the last K2 update.
If I copy an item which had been created before the update and submit it in any category everything goes fine. The problem is when I create a new item.

Hi again,
about that issue, today I notice something more strange.
The new item appears the day after !!!, and this is not about the browsers cache. I checked it with different browser, even from a different pc.
So what is the problem, when I create a new item needs about 24 hours to show up, and if I copy an old one even if I change text and photos works fine?
And this issue started after the last K2 update.

It's not just browser cache. There is also Joomla! cache. Check your Joomla! cache settings. Finally if you site is behind a CDN you might need to configure it properly.

Hello,
everything in joomla about cache is disabled, and I submit one more time that this problem started after the last K2 update.
Is there a way to uninstall the update without miss anything?
Any other suggestions?

We also have updated several sites and we have no issues. Is there a link to your site demonstrating the issue? If you however want to go back you can install K2 2.6.7 again. Don't uninstall since uninstalling will delete all K2 data.
