hello

I am using Joomla 3.1.5, K2 2.6.7 and Additional categories 1.0.1

I need that Joomla as I am thinking that I have these problems long time.

I have select on each categories which are used with article that I wouldnt show intro text in artilcle page as I need this text only on article category listing page.

But it doesnt work, introtext still is visible.

What is worst, when I dsiable it manually it in article the problem still appers.

What should I do ? Temporarily I will hide this via a css override, but I would like where should I look problems in my Joomla/ K2 engines.

Thank you

Hi. Try to make a template override for this menu link/category and then remove the introtext variable from the code.

Because K2 only supports one category. That's why.

No things are not exactly like that. Parameters get inherited only from the main category. This is how K2 works and the plugin cannot change that. A thing to try would be to create menu links to the categories so the URLs resolve correctly. Then all URLs to the same item should be the same.

I don't know exactly how this plugin works and since it's not developed by us you should also ask it's developer for help. Regarding K2 things are straightforward. You just create a menu link to the category holding this item. And you can control the item behavior from the category edit page. If this doesn't work, check again your menu and ensure that you don't have any custom template overrides.
