does anyone know if it's possible to show the category or the sitename in the title of a RSS posting?

For example, here's the status quo:

RSS title now: "Metallica post news video"

I want to have it like that: "Metallica post new video | News"

Of course if you are familiar with PHP you can edit files. But this is not a good practice since you will lose your modifications in future updates. If you insist doing this you can hack the file /components/com_k2/views/itemlist/view.feed.php.

And just to clarify, you can override any part of Joomla! using a system plugin if you are familiar with the Joomla! API docs.joomla.org/How_to_override_the_component_mvc_from_the_Joomla!_core.

Ok thanks - I'm not a programmer so it would be a little bit too hard for me to biuld a plugin :-)

I understand that you are not a programmer but i sent you this because it's the recommended way. If you edit directly the K2 file you will lose your changes in future updates as i told you. But it's all up to you.
