I'm running a website with Joomla 2.5.3 V php Framework and i have used Joomla K2 component 2.5 V as a part of requirement.

I have a created a extra fields under k2 component which type is drop down option and added values for more than 300 in admin

Issue facing in the server only

When i try to add one more value to the extra field in the drop down by using add more button and save it, then instead of saving it into database it just redirecting the page to K2 item list page in admin.

Note: I could not replicate this issue in my development environment with same scenario

Solution tried: Changed the datatype of the field in database which store extra field values to LONG_TEXT, but it is not fixxing the issue.

It would be great if anyone can suggest us a fix who come across this issue.

Hi. We cannot provide support for such old versions. You need to :

1. Update Joomla! to 2.5.19
2. Update K2 to 2.6.8.

Note that you must backup your site first since you are using very old versions and some things may break. I suggest to download the site to a local server, apply the updates, resolve any issues and then apply the changes to the live server.
