In my Global config, I have enabled the show author meta tag, however it is not showing up in my source code. I am using K2 items for the majority of my pages. I am using joomla 2.5.

Hi. It seems that there is an issue when author block is disabled. Can you please install the development version from getk2.org/assets/get and test? Let me know if your issue is resolved.

This has nothing to do with your template. You install it as you install normal K2 releases. The same way you install any other Joomla! extension. Just use the extension manager and upload the package. Don't uninstall K2 first.

Hi, i have the same problem. Updating K2 does not help. I'm now at 2.7.0 enabled the author meta tag but no meta tags show.

Btw did you redownload the DEV version or did you use an older one?
I am asking this because that version is regularly updated and you might have not installed the most recent one.
