Avoid file attachments renaming was created by Lenny
Hello,

when I upload some .csv files as attachments for an item, a .txt extension is added to the filename.

Resulting in some "foobar.csv.txt"

Any idea how can I avoid this ?

Thanks a lot

Hi. This means that probably your server fails to detect the correct mime type. What versions of Joomla!/K2/PHP are you using?

Hello,

I am using K2 2.6.8, Joomla 3.2.3 and PHP 5.4.4-14+deb7u7.5

Since, it happens only on .csv files, thats just, .csv are textfiles so k2 is adding the proper extension.
I merged mimetype and usage, but it is different things...

Have you any PHP hardening software ( like Suhosin for example ) installed on your server?
