is it possible to add new values on a extrafield, while i create a new article?
I found no possibility for thhis.

I think most new articles needs new values on extrafield.
It is very unconfortable, if i have to add those values first on the extrafield menu.

Hi. I don't understand. Have you created extra fields? Have you assigned the extra field group to a specific category? Once you do that you can enter extra fields values when you edit an item.

Maybe it's a bit difficult to understand. i try to explain on a example.

I have a K2 Category "Notebooks" where i add a new article for every notebook.
I made some extra-fields on this category ("Ram", "Screensize", "Brand", "Price", etc.)
I use multiple-choice or dropdown as extra-field type. (textfield i only use for "price")

I have now some Notebooks with 2, 6 and 8 GB Ram.

Now iadd a new article for a new notebook with 16 GB Ram.
I can't choose 16 GB on the "Ram" extra-field, becouse it is the first item with 16 GB.
I have to add the 16 GB first on the extra-field, and then switch back to the article-editor.

Wouldn't it be easyer, when i can add new extra-field values while in the article-editor?
Is this impossible?

This is not possible. An alternative way could be to use textreas with editors for this field so you will be free to enter whatever you want.

Textfield is no option for me, becouse i use the ja-2k search & filter

On textfields i cannot use select list, dropdown etc.

Then your only way would be to develop a K2 plugin which can do what you want and save the data on extra fields. Anyway, thank you for your feedback.
