Front end edit form and menu was created by Florian
Hello.

1. I want to create in the frontend a menu item "write new item". How does it work? When I create a menu item to the Edit form in Joomla 2 comes just a button anywhere on the top page. I would have involved him in the menu. Is that possible?

2. Is it possible to integrate the edit-form into the side and to prevent the pop-up?

Thanks and Regards

Hi. Create a menu link to K2 item form and the link will be rendered in your menu.

Thank Lefteris Kavadas. It works when I try it in another menu.

Then the problem lies elsewhere.

I built my user menu with the K2 user component. In this I have integrated the Joomla-User-Menu. There work all kinds of menu-type. But no k2-type (article, edit form, keyword...)

Is this a known issue?

I don't really get what you mean. Are you rendering a menu somewhere? If yes just go to Joomla! menu manager and add a menu link to K2 item form to that menu.

sorry for my slurred English

When I generate a standard menu with Joomla! all works fine.

But I use the K2-User Module.

In this module I can integrate an standard Joomla! menu.

This works fine too. But not with the k2-menytypes.

What do you mean that it does not work with K2 menu types? Are the links generated? What is happening when you click on them?

They are not visible. When I publish the menu in standard way they are visible. When I intergrate the menu in K2 "User Module" they are missing :(

Check that there are no template overrides for the module. Maybe the code that renders the menu is missing from your template overrides.
