The joomla search module does not search n k2 categories. It does search only in k2 articles. The k2 search plugin is normally activated. Please help!! I use joomla 3.3.2.

Hi. This done by design. If you need advanced search you can always use the core Smart Search plugin.

Hi Lefteris, thank you for answering me! I'm sorry I am pretty new to joomla and k2 and I did not undestand clearly what you meant. What do you meam that it is done by design? I tried using Smart Search plugin e wathever had to do with searching, but I don't know what else to do really to solve the problem. Why does it search only among k2 items? How can I add a checkbox "k2 categories" in my screenshot (see attachment). Any help would be a lot appreciated. Thnak you.

You can't. K2 by design searches only items since items are the primary content source for K2.
