K2 Joomfish search plugin was created by Jeroen
Hi,

I'm using Joomla 2.5.16 with K2 v2.6.7 and installed Joomfish V2.5.1.
Only when I search on the website it only shows the K2 items in the native language (Dutch) and not the translates english K2 items.

Apparently I'm missing the proper 'K2 joomfish search plugin' but I can't find them anywhere.

Anybody who has the sollution?

Kind regards,
Jeroen

Hi. What's the language of the site when you are performing the search? You cannot have mixed search results. The results should be in the language that you are viewing the site when performing the search.

Hi Lefteris,

Thanks for your reply.

It doesn't matter in what language I'm viewing the website when I do a search. In both languages it only shows me the native (Dutch) results.

You can see it here:
www.tracksparrow.com/nl (native Dutch)
www.tracksparrow.com/en (translated to English)
and search for 'drone' or 'portal'. Words used in both languages.

First look told me that the K2 joomfish search plugin is missing. In fact the plugin doesn't seem to exist, this seems to be a known bug.

Hopefully you can help me.

Kind regards,
Jeroen Hellemons

As far as i remember JoomFish required a special plugin for searching. This plugin was not part of K2. Since you are member in their club, i suggest you ask them for help. If this has changed in the new version of JoomFish and we can add some code to support it, we will be very glad to do it. Alternatively you can use the K2 Tools search module instead of the Joomla! search. This will use K2 for searching and should give you the correct results.
