Is there any way adjust the layout in the back end so that some of the columns can be wider and more readable? On the title column for the items, it is only wide enough to display like two words at the most, even if I increase the size of the browser. I don't know if it is because there are too many other fields, but it's hard to read. I don't know if it is something with just my install (because some of the screenshots I have seen look more readable than mine) or if it displays this way for everyone.

Hi. You can create a layout override and alter the markup as you wish. Just copy file /administrator/components/com_k2/views/items/tmpl/default.php to /administrator/templates/YOUR_ADMIN_TEMPLATE/html/com_k2/items/default.php. Then Joomla! will use the file on your template instead of the one provided by K2. You can alter the markup there. You can even remove columns if you don't need them.
